Midea Europe GmbH has introduced Solstice, a wall-mounted air conditioning unit that combines superior energy efficiency with artificial intelligence. At the heart of the new line is AI Ecomaster – an algorithm that, based on billions of data points, predictively optimizes heating and cooling by analyzing not only room temperature, but also external and usage conditions.
Available in black and white variants, Solstice achieves SEER up to A+++ and SCOP up to A++ in a temperature range from -15°C to +50°C for cooling and -25°C to +24°C for heating.
The unit uses R32 refrigerant, comes in five capacities (2.6kW–7kW cooling, 2.9kW–7.3kW heating), and the noise level of the indoor unit has been reduced to just 19 dB(A). Installation is flexible with maximum pipe length up to 50m and height difference of 25m.
